As many students know, textbooks are expensive. In fact, according to the College Board, in 2008, students were expected to spend over $1,000 per year purchasing textbooks. At Textbook Revolution, we want to change that.

TBR’s mission is to drive the adoption of free textbooks by teachers and professors. We want to get these books into classrooms. Our approach is to bring all of the free textbooks we can find together in one place, review them, and let the best rise to the top and find their way into the hands of students in classrooms around the world.

We provide links to free online textbooks and other educational materials. As we form this repository of links, we can review the materials and feature the best ones; in doing so, we can make it easier for teachers and professors to adopt these free resources, and for these resources to then find their way into classrooms.
