Yes, that CIA. I never thought I would be putting documents up from our nation’s spy agency on a free textbook website, but this is a top-notch online almanac that can certainly compete with The World Almanac for depth and quality. Updated every two weeks, the book is very well organized. Details are available for every foreign country you can imagine, and a few you probably can’t. Excellent maps, too. And because all government publications are in the public domain, you can download and copy to your heart’s content. Also available for sale in a print version. Your tax dollars at work. Highly recommended!
