A companion to a high-priced standard physical geology textbook, but the website is free to access and so well done that I couldn’t leave it off this list. Every geology student will find it useful. The big publishers aren’t entirely evil.
Available for purchase? Although this is the companion website to a textbook, I could not find the book at Houghton Mifflin's website, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble. Buy a good used book instead, or use what's here.
