The LangaList has taught me more about computers than any of the various computer classes I’ve taken, including the (useless) 8-week Microsoft A+ PC Technician class I paid more than $1000 for a couple of years ago. Published twice a week by Fred Langa, one of the most respected names in the computer biz and an author for InformationWeek.com, the list is a continuing free course in computers that will help any level of computer user.
Every bit as useful as the list are the archives, a searchable collection of a decade’s worth of columns. If you have a computer question, Fred has written about it, probably multiple times, and you can find the answer in the archives. A free edition of the archives is available online.
All this is available for FREE, with minimal ads. And for just a few dollars a year, you can get ad-free newsletters, delivered earlier, with more content, and a better version of the archives.
Available for purchase? Yes, Plus edition is $13.50/year
